New Here, Hi!

1 Attachment(s)
Hi There,

I have been looking for a few days for a great Mustang Message Board and this seems to fit the bill perfectly.

I just recently purchased (last month) a 2002 GT Mustang Convertible, I am loving my car, I couldn't be happier with it.

At this time I haven't made any modifications, maybe some of you have some advice! In the works are - K&N Air Filter, and an exhaust change, possible X-Pipe with flowmasters? It's all up in the air.

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and say hello! I look forward to talking to you all.

Errant 08-23-2002 09:37 PM

Well, you COULD be my neighbor, but it's pretty unlikely! The picture was taken in Southern California but I live in the North. Do you live anywhere around here?

Thanks for the welcome!

I live in San Jose, it's about 75 miles or so from Fairfield.. About an hour away, unless I am driving :)

mustangman65_79 08-24-2002 12:27 AM

Cool, I've been thinking, sometime maybe next summer, all of us from the bay area should have a get together. Can't do it this summer because I won't be there. Not till sometime in October.

Thanks! Very nice car you have there :) You are right - I can't even believe the attention I get in my car, especially with the top down in traffic, yikes!

If you look at the second picture under users rides, you will see he is right. There is a red one across the street. I initally thought the same thing about the grand cherokee in the first pic.

Welcome to the boards.

You really think that's a Jeep? Looks like a pickup to me, not sure of the make. I would swear I can see the slider rear window. Hmmm.

Take care,
~Chris

It's a grand cherokee for sure. The picture was taken at my grandmother's house and the jeep is her neighbor's.

Errant is a synonym for "Devious" which is another name I use everywhere. Just wanted a little change :)

The actual definitions are:

1. Straying outside the proper path or bounds.

2. Deviating from a standard.

Pretty much sums me up :D

Great idea about the California Mustang meet btw, that would be a lot of fun.

All the best,
Rachel

I think we should try to make a date for next year, I time that maybe we could all meet. My luck, I'd get it all planned out and have to be deployed again, but that the AF life for ya. After I get back, I'm going to be more serious about this, just in case u ppl want to meet this year. I'll be back about mid to late October this year.
