New Members Please Read This Before Posting!

Due to problems here in the Blue Oval Lounge recently, regarding spammers and threads that obviously belong else where in the MustangWorks.com Message Boards, we've decided that it's necessary to state the following guidelines regarding the forums:

Quote:

The lounge is a light hearted forum with less moderation, which allows for looser talk and completely off topic subjects. Get to know your fellow members here and share life, regardless of the subject.
Broadly, this means discussions and topics that do not fit into the other forum categories.

This means the following examples of topics belong elsewhere:
  • Questions about which intake, throttle body, exhaust, flux capacitor, etc. you want to use. This is what the Ford Tech forums are for. Their names and descriptions should allow you to make a good choice of where to go to post.
  • Questions regarding basically anything related specifically to YOUR VEHICLE. Again, post it in the proper forum, please.
  • Advertising something you are selling. Ads belong in the classifieds... and, that is only if they are from those not placing ads for a commercial business or acting as a business. If so, help support this site and place paid commercial advertising with MW.
  • SPAM BELONGS NOWHERE IN THESE FORUMS! YOU WILL BE BANNED FOR THIS. PERIOD.

If you want faster responses to questions, then please follow these guidelines. Otherwise, you'll just be waiting longer, and it creates more work for the moderators because they'll have to move or delete your thread anyway.

Remember that this forum is for OFF-TOPIC subjects and discussion, light-hearted and general in nature. We're all here because we're Mustang fans already, so let's see what else we're interested in. This isn't the place to bad-mouth each other if subjects come up where there is a genuine disagreement, either. Respect each other, please! If you have a topic that is extremely controversial, think twice about how you word it to avoid flame wars. Use the Private Message feature if it's personal conversations you want to have with each other. That's why it's there. :)

We strongly encourage new members to start threads to introduce themselves to the community. This way, we have a better idea of who you are, what you like/dislike, etc., and it makes it easier for us to get to know one another.

This sticky isn't intended to call members out or to start a debate regarding our rules or policies, but is just to make sure everyone knows them. Please respect your fellow members, and remember to keep it fun! Thanks for reading, posting, and being part of our community.
