Post where can I get these exhaust tips? pics inside...

I am still looking for a set of tips for my side exhaust.

I found these on EBAY, they are from a 01 Z28. I want the black tip on the end. Does anyone know where I can get a set?

From a Chevy dealership. But I don't think I'd want all the Camaro guys laughing at me for using the competitions parts on my ride =P

HAHAHAHA

I am not worried about that The only other tips that I found were from a Corvette and a Charger. I guess ford never made a nice flat exhaust tip.

I like the idea of the black because my car is black, and it will look awesome coming out the side!

I will stop by the dealer tomorrow and check the price. I am glad I am driving the winter stang and not the 5.0 to the chevy dealership.

Ohhh the shame

He said they would look good coming out the side, I agree. If it were me, I'd get some old ghetto side skirts and try and mold some fiberglass into them to make some side exhaust ports. It really looks tight on the SN95 cars. By the way Ian, check with muffler shops, a local shop here in town is always cutting off those tips and putting chrome ones on. I'm sure you could find some nice used tips. I'd try taking a sawz all to a Z28 somewhere in town, hehehe. While I was at it, I'd cut the pipes right behind the headers (or manifolds I guess) I'm sure some chevy guy would love the surprise. :-)
