New Too The Site
Hope this is the right section too post in,
Just say'n hi too everyone! I live in the outskirts of Houston Texas and have been in the Mustang Scene since HotWheels and owned my first Real Car at age 14..It was an 82 GL Strait 6 w/moon roof...lol After a little saving from afterschool job I moved up too an 83 GT that looked good but smoked/ran hot/trany problems etc Thought it was the fastest car in the world and ran 17's in the 1/4 ..What a pile I bought...lol 8 months later an 86 GT W/T-Tops and untill now have owned and traded 49 Mustangs..Got pics of everyone I owned up till now and still would buy others if Finances allowed...I am an Freak and Enthusiast..Thats where all my money went! Payed one off/set it aside and saved for a down payment for another and went from there...I still own 4 now but married w/kids...Guess that how I got my Nick Name...lol My oldest is 11 and her name is Deserrae Shelby and my youngest at 4 is named Destinie Saleen...Been doing the Turbo thing for a while now! Built my first Homade set up in the late 90's and it looked like crap, especially the Hamburger meat welding I did..Got lucky and test n tuned for a few years w/stock 302's out of the junk yard and managed too run some low 6's in the 1/8 at 3000lbs with Twin Dodge Diesel Turbos/Home Built Carb and Plumbing...Never Knew I would have gotten that fast with a Junky High Milaged E7 Headed 302's...This is the level where my motors started Granading...Went through 3 of them...Anyways,Enough Rambling from me!

Hey, Billy:
Welcome to MustangWorks! With all the Mustangs you've owned over the years, I'm surprised you didn't find this website a lot sooner...we've been around for 11 years...but we're glad you're among us, now. Stick around. Post some photos (if you have them).

Re: New Too The Site
Mr.5.0
1989gt.....Thanks on the welcome...I've got a few pics of my junky Turbo Car for now and will have a few more in the future w/the Built R-Block that is going in..I've been building the R-Block for the past 3 yrs now while running junk motors in between....Finances and Car changes Chassis wise and Strengthning parts on the car is what has held me back from Completion...I won't paint it till a year or 2 from now... I ran across this site in a Google search on an B-50 Block that I have had for a while now...I used too be only a street car guy but got faster and decided too take off the street and Track only....Bad Mistake...This Track stuff and combo I put together is really way more than I want..When I'm done a nd drive it down the track a bit...I'm gonna sell and build me another street car..Turbo Streeter that is...Grocery Getter/Daily Driver... I've tried too manage attachments on here but it freezes..My pics aren't too big..I'm gonna try too host them from tiny pic.com...

Re: New Too The Site
Welcome to the site Mustang Billy. We are glad to have you join us.
Your car isn't completely polished looking, yet... but, you are right. It will get there in time. Mine was a project that evolved over 10 years. In a sense, it still isn't 100% complete. Turst me, they never are. There's always something else you'd like to do. It's just that the major stuff diminishes eventually.
