No Cobra for 2005. Say it isn't so.
I was reading about the possibility of the 2005 Mustang being the 2004 pace car for the Indy 500 on this page when I happened to see something where it said there isn't going to be a 2005 Cobra offered. It's under the section called "Differences Between the Concepts and the Production Model".
http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/concept/s197/index.htm Please don't let it be true.:( |
WHA!? they just ripped EVERYTHING from the car that made it so freaking awesome! no glass roof, no rollbar! WHA?! higher windshield?! and back seats!?! the two seater stang was what it hought made this car ROCK.....what a shame...im VERY disappointed now and definetly am not looking to buy one in the future now...

BS, there will be a Cobra. Please remember that the introduction of the new Mustang is quite some time away. It will look much different then, as opposed to the way it looks now.
|
The rumor I heard was the cobra will be offered in the '06 production year.
|
It would be stupid to have a 2 seater mustang. That would kill everything the mustang has stood for for the past 40 years.

Just about every sports car now is becoming a two seater or a 4 door sedan....wtf is going on?!?!
I like 4 seat mustangs....even if the rear seats are somewhat non functional. Heck, my GT doesn't even have rear seats, but i like the thought that you can throw a couple of friends in the back of one and get them car sick from doing doughnuts :D |

happy now:) |
I'm sorry, but that glass roof had to go. It looked awful. While roll bars on convertibles aren't "gay" in general, that one was. And I'd hate to have a two seat stang. There wouldn't be any room for my stuff, and passengers.
