Well anyone that knows their head from their *** should know that nowadays, displacement is not much of a speed indicator anymore. A 4.6 can make as much power as a 5.0, **** MORE power! Just depends on how much you feel like investing :D

Although I do love my V8s (no replacement for displacement) I'm not ignorant enough to think that smaller CI can't beat me...I've seen enough 12 second Civics to know better...I just prefer my *vrooooom* sound, NON ECONOBOX looks, and raw torque ;)

Whatever it was the spooked him has probably just made him decide to give this place a rest for a while. Sometimes it get's like that. I'm sure he's fine, and I'm sure he'll be back. Just let him be for a while.

i went to modular madness & saw why unit got p.o.ed, one guy was talking bs about 5.old, thats stupid, i love the 5.0's great engine for almost 30 some odd years, it's a ford so i dont know what that guy's problem was , but it was bs, so come back unit, all us 4.6 guy's dont think it's a better engine than the 5.0 :) they are all ford to me.

If he thinks 5.0's are obsolete, I can't help but wonder what he thinks about carburated 289-302's? Oh well, maybe I'll line up next to him at the christmas tree sometime at the track, hee,hee.

that's what im saying rev, my 69 302 4- speed will smoke my 2k gt, it only has a 2 v carb, but the rest of the engine, hummm! secret.:D ;)

no sir it's a 19 & 69 motorcraft wore out pos, i cant get the right side jet set for sh--- i have re-built it 3 times, it is slap wore out, but, it's bored 30 over forged slugs 4v head's , headers , 2.5 exh with flow's, plus a 70 mach rear end, heheh. the little coupe is light & fast, i never lost a race even with the right side loading up too rich? , the 4- speed help's alot too , donated by the same 70 mach, which burned up.:D :D
