Ok, what's this about speed-shifting, w/ out the clutch??? Wouldn't you see parts of your tranny bouncing down the road in your rearview? I want to try this (sound like fun), but I don't want to pay 3K for a new tranny + install. So, is this that bad for your car?

Yes do not do it unless you have plans for a new tranny. Shifting without the clutch is a huge mistake. Although what I do know though I've only got 88K miles on mine with 600 passes of abuse behind it.
