this is not cbring almosts gets first manslaughter

i don't really know what i expect as far as comments, but a camaro guy is the bad guy and it involves a mustang, so i thought i'd share. enjoy, or don't enjoy, if you'd like:

Quote:

i went to spend some to with my parents and my monte carlo today. my dad told me about a 71-73 Mach 1 Mustang for sale in the area, so i set out to buy gas and look at a mach 1.

i gas up the dub ($1.369 for 93 octane) and then begin to exit the gas station. the gas station shares an exit/entrance with the hardee's next door. i get in the right turn lane behind a truck. the truck sees an opening in traffic and pulls out on the highway. as i begin to ease up to the stop sign, a new red camaro ss that is exiting the highway tries to pull into the hardees by going in front of me. he slams his brakes and comes to a stop about a foot from my driver-side door. he stares at me, waves his fist, backs up, and as he is going around me, he flips me off. for what its worth, the camaro has a rebel flag front vanity plate and an NRA sticker on his car. stuff like this incident happens pretty frequent in traffic, so i think no big deal. i turn right on the highway in quest of the Mach 1.

the Mach 1 is parked at a car lot/wrecker service/junkyard/repair service. there are several incomplete cars and a few complete ones. i park on the side of the road, get out and look at the Mach 1. it is a mustard color and looks like it has been wrecked in the day. the body is pretty wavy, so i assume it has its share of bondo.

as i'm giving the mustang a thorough look-over, i hear the rumble of a v8. i look up and the same camaro has pulled up behind my car. hmmm, that's odd. i watch him as he gets out of his car. it is an older (than me) gentleman, about 45-50 years old. he has a mullet and a huge chaw in his mouth. he agressively begins walking towards me. as he approaches me, he says to me in an aggressive tone:

"no phuckin' wigger is gonna cut me off, i'll teach you, you punk."

even though i fully believe that the previous incident was entirely his fault, i'm not one for trouble, so i reply:

"i'm sorry it happened"

he continues to approach me. thankfully, there happens to be a piece of solid lead pipe (about 18 inches long) lying on the ground next to the mustang. i reached down and grab the pipe. About the time he gets within a few steps of me, i cock back the pipe, ready to give his head a whackin'. he cowers back, mutters "you look like a phuckin' n!gger" and runs back to his car and drives off. whew, i almost pissed myself.

when i got back to my parents, i went up in the attic and got my old tee ball bat. it now resides under my passenger seat with a ball and a glove.

Sounds like your pathetic attempt to crack on both domestics, and southern folk. That story was so crappy dude, i mean seriously. How long did it take you to make it up?

PS. Get a life!

this is not cbring 12-09-2002 11:26 AM

i guess it took about 12-17 minutes.........

give the drunken redneck as much, if not more, credit as me..........i wouldn't have a story without him

So how did you almost get manslaughter?? Doesn't that involve the police??

I feel like I'm missing something here, maybe before my time.

NotchJohnson 12-09-2002 05:23 PM

His description of the dude is hilarious. Typical of a little punk trying to stereotype southern people. Talking about the guy chewing tobacco, having a mullet and calling him a wigger and the n-bomb. Go tell your story to jesse jackson you little f@ggot.

Tod 12-09-2002 06:05 PM

uh, isn't a solid lead pipe big enough to be used as a bat be just a TAD too heavy to swing around?

No one backs up on the road, and no way a guy like you described would be scared by your pansy arse.

digital3.3 12-10-2002 12:22 AM

lol swung a lead pipe, sure he did.:D :D a lead pipe big enough for ya to swing at him woulda wieghed quite a bit, thats not very easy thing to do even for me and i'm a fairly big guy too.

Jeez this is a bling bling, what a dumb story. Sounds made up to me. Is anybody sure this isn't Unit with a new name that were talking too?

Daniel.

cyberstang5.0 12-10-2002 12:43 PM

I agree, sound like http://www.westsidemustangs.com/foru...les/bsflag.gif to me

Kamaro Killer 12-10-2002 02:17 PM

You guys are way off IMO

Unit may have been harsh to a lot of people, but he had some real intelligence behind his arguments, and didn't have to make up BS stories to remind people that he was still around.

Eric4Nitrous 12-10-2002 02:48 PM

have you noticed he hasn't replied to his post yet??? Kinda looks like he wanted to get something going.

POISNUS 12-10-2002 02:54 PM

I haven't been around for a really long time, where is Unit anyway? I used to loved reading his posts, unless he became too offensive.

Jason

MidNiteBlu 5.0 12-10-2002 03:07 PM

Unit left because he felt he didnt like how people on this board were acting. he also kinda changed and became a "im better than everyone" kinda guy rather that just a pain in the *** who knew alot of stuff like he always was.

Cbring is just being a troll like he has become pretty much ever since he first joined our site.

Eric4Nitrous 12-10-2002 03:23 PM

it was easy to know it all when you got a book in front of you ;)

granted i have not been here for that long, i give a What The F|_|CK to all of you cept "cbring". the story could be true and i have a policy of believing people untill they prove me wrong. give the guy a chance.

naw... he would have gotten off with self defence MAYBE. manslaughter is if you kill someone and you absolutly didn't mean to. i'd say if he was charged it would be a 2nd degree murder. (murder without premeditation.)

moron......

as for the pipe, i can swing a 18 inch lead pipe all day long and i am not a big guy. the reason it was next to the car is that it was probibly being used as a "cheater bar". ask layn, he has seen the cheater bar i use nearly 100% of the time i am under car. mine's 24 inches though. (heh) you slip the end of your socket wrench into the pipe, then have more leverage. it is quite possible that the pipe was there either as a modified crow, or a cheater.

hey now... you never know. maybe he is converting to ford? if he was you mihgt have just turned him back. GJ. i am chevy born and raised.... does that mean i am a liar when i say i like ford now?

my only problems with your story are:

if he stopped one foot from your door, you would have had to roll your window down and stick your head out to see his licence plate. those camero's are awufuly low to the gnd to begin with.also, i searched tennessee DMV for a "rebel flag plate" and found nothing. how did you see the NRA sticker?

answer these questions and maybe these guy will get off your @ss.

Tod 12-11-2002 04:38 PM

i'm sorry, but cbring couldn't swing an 18" SOLID lead pipe around with enough ease to use it as a weapon. even blumbering redneck know how to dodge that slow of a swing.

btw, bats are usually in the area of 30-36" long. either he's an idiot, or thinks any metal object is made of solid lead.

his story is bs, he didn't even post it as a generic story really, looks like he "cut" and "pasted" from another website. sorry, i can't take it easy on someone asking for a foot up the butt.

I think I remember that guy, lol. As a matter of fact, I saw that he is/was a registered member over at Hardcore50.com... is he a drag racer? :D

I stumbled across a small mustang site awhile back that I noticed he was happily posting away on... I'm happy for him. :)

My point... he still uses the Unit5302 tag, so I would doubt that 'bling-bling' is Unit... but hey, I don't claim to know too terribly much. ;)

Rev - first and foremost...good to see you again...been a while. :D

And yes, I can vouch for this one, Kell has never raced his 87GT or his new 2002GT at a track. I should know as I used to always beg him to get to a track...but he always had an excuse.

He was always very technical in most any reply/post.

tireburner163 12-12-2002 05:21 PM

To imply that Cbring is Unit is a insult to Kell.

The reason Kell never goes to the track is that the nearest one is like 1 1/2 hours away.

Kell was a valuable resource, he knows his stuff. I, for one, was sad to see him go.

Kell is moderator at TheMustangNet.com and posts on a few other forums.

I don't care what you people say, Kell is a damn nice guy. He's helped my too many times to count. And believe it or not there was a time when he was a nice guy on the boards too. Senior member will remember that.

He simply got mad at the number of ricerfobic members and the misinformation that was being sprea in Mod Madness (no offense to Hammer)

I agree.

I know. I've heard this one a thousand times. And that's fine. I never insulted him for it. All I did was beg him to go sometime. Which, for a person that is so devoted to Mustangs that he has two of them, you would think that one day he would make the trip to see what actual ET he gets.

And, I live about 45 mins from my local track, but have made the trip to Norwalk (2hrs. 15mins one way) at least 3 times and have raced at another track called Kil-Kare that is about 1hr. and 15mins away. So, I don't see how a hour and a half drive can be that bad.

Kell was a valuable resource, he knows his stuff. I, for one, was sad to see him go.

Me too. However, his demeanor on the boards changed and he was not the most pleasant person to converse with (no offense here, just stating the facts).

Kell is moderator at TheMustangNet.com and posts on a few other forums.

Good for him. I agree with ultra on this, in that I hope he's happy and has found a site that's good for him.

Kell was one of my favorite debate sparring partners...

Although we hardly EVER agreed on anything, I respected the heck out of him. I was also kind of sad to see him go...

Quote:

No offence is taken.
Kell just could never understand the point that most modular owners are NEW, and the numbers keep growing every day. So the amount of misinformation out there about 96 to present Mustangs are about 100 times the amount of crappy info about the old foxes. As the 4.6 stangs ever increase, the knowledge base will grow. (I'm already seeing this happen)

Although I try to correct any BLATANT misinformation, I am not a mechanic, I don't know everything, I can't catch everything, and I'm even WRONG once in a while.

Kell knows his stuff, he just took some things too seriously.

srv1 12-12-2002 08:16 PM

I was just joking about Unit being Cbring! Wow!

He was a know it all. But he did know quite alot for someone who doesnt turn wrenches for a living.

No excuse on that "1 1/2 hour" trip. I went to the Modular Madness shootout in June. It was over 4 hours one way for me. I drove my car there, raced it, blew a head gasket, and drove it back home. Just ask Topless and Mom. An hour and a half is a small drive. He probably doesnt know how to drive and didnt want the word to get out.

He probably is a nice guy. I have no beef with him except the fact he was a "technical" guy rather than a "technician" who he perceived himself to be.

I am glad he likes it over there. Other than what i mentioned above, he seems like a decent guy.

JaxTheDJ 12-12-2002 09:16 PM

1 & 1/2 hrs. is too far to go race?....LOL I live in Jax,Travel to Gainesville(1 1/2 hrs.) Savannah(2 1/2) Hrs. Orlando(over 2 hours),you get the point,if you WANT to race, you just go :) Other than that I dont know the guy and am just reading posts, pro and con. But too far to race???? Bite your tounge......LOL

The Deuce 12-12-2002 10:43 PM

That's a hike in Minnesota. I've been a lot of places and driven 1.5 hours in most of them, and frankly Minnesota is the slowest going state of them all.

And don't you two (jax and srv) start giving me crap because I've done it in NY and FL, and well heck, I almost did it coming home from work tonight, dammn LA traffic.

Eric4Nitrous 12-12-2002 10:46 PM
