repro door shell
Has anyone bought and/or installed '65-'66 repro door shells?
How did they fit? Do they have the textured metal on the interior. Feedback of any kind is appreciated! //ol'paint

I've heard good and bad things about repro door shells. Early complaints were they didn't fit well and the "C" scallop line was not easy to match up at both edges. Since then I've heard that these early problems with the door shells have been fixed and now they're pretty good. Point I'm wanting to make is there are apparently new and old reproduction parts on the market. Price may differentiate these, i.e., new being more expensive. Use caution when buying these. You don't want to buy someone's early ill fitting reproduction they found wouldn't fit.
