Default officially doing college dorm life...

woo....im in the dorms now at the university of florida...i like where im staying though...its not a community kitchen or bathroom and the dorms are brand new...just 2 years old...i get my own room too ...theres A LOT of rice running around gainesville though...i cant wait til i beat em all on the roads...hehe...

and i heard some girl while she was walking down the sidewalk infront of my building....she saw my car and commented on how there are "so many mustangs"; "was there a sale or something?!?"...i wanted to run over to her and smack her for comparing my car to the 6 dozens V6 99+ stangs running around here...sheesh... ...some people just dont understand...maybe shell fall in love with a guy with an orignal geo......

anyways...only hting im missing is my stereo...youd be surprised the amount of crap you can fit into an 02 GT vert.....the stereo might not fit though....hope i dont have to do two trips for it, it is a 2 1/2-3 hour drive...not that i mind it...i saw an ac cobra replica on the way up here...i nearly went off the road rubbernecking...lol...my gf nearly did the same behind me as she saw it and gazed too (you know you have an awesome girlfriend when..... )

...just thought id share that i moved in and everything seems like fun...hello new stepping stone!...hehe

You are about to open the door to what you will look back upon for ever as perhaps the funnest 4 years of your life. Remember that when things occasionally suck.

Take care,
~Chris

You either need to be best friends with your RA, or have them have no idea who you are. Either extreme is a good way to stay out of trouble.

Don't go to class before 10 and never on Fridays. Took me almost a year to learn that. Oh, and there ain't nothing wrong with waking up still drunk at a strangers place. Not that I ever did.

Have blast, but be safe. It ain't the world I grew up in anymore.

While I did not like life in "res", it was pretty cool to meet so many people. After 4 years in the "real" world, I look back at my University days as some of the best. The only thing that drove me crazy was all the idealistic people running around. I couldn't stay any longer.

Good luck, eh!

thanks for the encouragement

but ive noticed that most of the RAs for most of the dorms are rather relaxed....but itll take a week or two before i fully find out...i have classes on friday, hardly on monday though...and im not taking anything earlier than 9:30 except my chem lab whihc was only open friday morning starting at 8:20....so at least there are no 7:30 classes in my schedule....that would suck..lol

thanks again..

I just moved back into the dorms, it's weird to be back so soon. But I'm looking forward to the view
jon, back of the geo's man. They're nice little cars that get good gas mileage(I happen to own one). Well, they're at least better than having to drive my stang in the snow.

Yes, college rocks. I am back at MIZZOU and loving it again already. Dorms eventually get old, but you will meet some of your best friends there.

It is kind of amazing how realistic most movies are when it comes to college life. Our house is often covered with empty beer bottles and pizza boxes and I can't even begin to tell you all the crazy stories we have. You hear wild stories about all kinds of stuff, and think "man, that stuff never happens". Well, it does in college !

Have fun, be safe, and keep your priorities straight. We can party with the best of them at my place, but we also get our stuff done too.

Oh, and enjoy the campus wildlife on the way to classes !
