This is nothing new, it's been happening for years. All of you are car enthusiasts, and their hobby happens to be computers. Wouldn't you paint your car if it only came in a bland beige. Plus, these are not just all show and no go, I bet almost any computer with a modded case is also overclocked. I don't think it's rice, I've even done some mods to my case.
