That IS strange! Maybe they looked at Eleanor for some ideas during the design phase? One thing lacking on the '05 is reverse lights. I'm thinking they'll be where they are located on Eleanor. I don't think Ford has the balls to put exhaust THROUGH a rear plastic cover like that....though the thought is good. :) The lights should be narrowed a tad, just to keep away from the camaro/firebird look, IMO. Eleanor's lights are in fact a *touch* narrower that the '05 shown, and that's what I think will be the subject of debate: which way will the taillights go? Like Eleanor's? Like the photoshopped-'65 style? Where are the reverse lights going to go? Who knows? I hope they're as wild as the '99s were when they first came out!

Hey, I was kinda trippin' for a sec too over something. I have an artist's rendering of what the next Mustang would look like. It's been hanging on my wall for 4 years. Know what? IT LOOKS EXACTLY, I MEAN EXACTLY LIKE the one depicted here.   Well, less the 20 inch rims on the drawing, I mean. The front bumper cover looks cooler in the drawing, as well. Mebbe I'll hook my scanner up and post it here. It WILL trip you out!

How many years till the Mustang get's another redesign? :(

I like the gas cap, and well that's pretty much it. I hope the final version is a far cry from this.

thanks for the compliments :D

the whole idea behind those tail lights is to be a takeoff of the old shelbys....thats why you see the similarity.. ;):)

Okay somebody send this to Ford ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you put in some quarter glass instead of the scoops on the sail panels.

This car seems to be heavily inflenced by the 67-68 Shelby's

Still don't like the vert, but I'd plunk down money on the fastback, especially if they put Sinister on the design team.

cool car, but i wouldnt buy one if it becomes a production model. What kind of interior is that? Why does new cars have to look like they came out of a Star Trek convention? The exterior is cool, but they need to go off the 03 body style, not reinvent the wheel.

Add a duck tail set the tail light panel in a bit and things will be kewl, just like certain other mustang!

Here's the best looking pre foxbody ever made (although I would really want mine in grabber blue with a 428, top-loader and the drag pak option)

Haha, well, good luck with that. Centripital force might play a role, and gravity. See how useful physics is in the real world!:D

Don't get my wrong, I think it's gorgeous!!!

I think either the duck tail or a simple spoiler (like the 01 and 02 GT's) would dress it up nicely :D
