One thing leads to another

I orginaly had plans to put rear disk brakes on my stang, then I got a set of Eibach Pro springs (realy cheap) then I had to buy Caster Cambre plates, that lead to me now needing shocks, so I figure when put the disks on I have to remove the axles, fine, but to weld the caliper mounts on to the axles, I have to remove the whole axle housing. since I am going pull the whole axle housing out I may as well get it powder coated. To get it powder coated I will have to remove the pumpkin, since I am going to remove the pumpkin to powder coat the axle housing I may as well switch out the old 2:73 and put new 3:27s in.....

I hate how it is all leads into one an other

on another note these are my planned mods to my stang tell me what you think:

Base: stock 88 GT (free mods)

- rear disk brakes (off a t.coupe)(have)
- Eibach pro springs (have)

I would suggest a higher gear ratio, 3.55"s or 3.73's if you have a 5-speed and 3.73's or 4.10's if you have an AOD.

I know what ya mean Blocker. I think thats why my '66 is still sitting in the yard. I'm making progress though. I put a battery on it and baught some tie rod ends since it has none on it. Kinda hard to drive it that way!

How 'bout adding some nitrous to that list! http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...oard/smile.gif

After inspecting how to mount the rear disks it turns out I will not have to remove the rear axle housing, I guess I can save money on the gears for now and afford the tires for my new cobra Rs
