Default Gonna have to get a heater for the garage...

Well, the yellow bomber is more or less in for the winter, and it looks like once again, I've got some wrench turning to do....

First and formost, I think the CCRM (Constant Control Relay Module) has finally kicked the bucket after fighting death for about 2 years. Considering the fuel pump relay, the PCM power relay, and the EDF relay are all housed in this unit. You can imagine the light and sound show I'm greeted with when I turn the key to the "run" position. It's located in the passenger side fender right above the right wheel, so I get to remove the wheel and the plastic "wheel well" that goes around it. Then contort to some wierd zen-like positions on the garage floor with my rachet in hand.

Also in store are some brake service and upgrades.
Front rotors and pads are just about gone. So I've got some new slotted rotors and opted to upgrade to some "slightly" used dual-piston PBR calipers off of a 02 GT. Rears are getting new rotors too. I'm still figuring out the best way to get the rust off of my old rear calipers. So any hints would be appreciated. (Sanding? Wire Brush?)

Once everything is done I'll get some black satin VHT caliper paint and paint the calipers. No wild colors ar anything, just a flat black to go with the yellow\black scheme of the car. Hopefully it'll keep that nasty rust away too.

Some of you already know my TKO tranny has an "iffy" synchro for 3rd. I've decided to just baby it for another summer and deal with it later as I've got enough on my plate this winter.

So how much are those space heaters?
