Opinions...
I know how much we all loathe those pesky GM products but my roomate is looking for a new car (96-00) and he was looking at a Grand Am. If anyone has any personal experience with these or opinions, I'd be glad to hear them. Thanks guys.

I test drove an SLP Firehawk a little while ago. Not too shabby for a GM product. Decent acceleration, good handling, fair braking. A little work and you could have a pretty damn good car.

I drove a 94 Grand Am SE for almost 5 years before I traded it in on a Stang. It was a damn good car. The only thing I had to replace in that time was the Alternator and Plug wires. The V-6 engine is strong. Bought it with 35,000 miles, and had 116,000 when I traded it in. I wish I would have stuck out the payments for 10 more months and kept it as my winter car. Oh well. A good car in my opinion... ------------------ T-Bones 1997 Cobra Wht/blk, Pro 5.0,FRPP 4.10's, aluminum driveshaft, FRPP throttle body, C&L 80mm MAF, K&N, Steeda U/D pulleys, Steeda timing adjuster, Flowmasters, s/f connectors, FRPP pro springs, BBK caster/cambers. http://web.ndak.net/~topel/TBone1.jpg |
