Ordering+Summit=Happiness

I ordered my intake and carb Thursday morning from summit, and this friday afternoon, I recived the parts. I ordered a 750cfm Holley 4bbl vaccum sec. and a edlebrock performer RPM intake, along with the studs for the intake. Everything cost me only $417. This is for my '79 mustang.

Ordering new parts, especially performance parts is always fun.

Its a nice feeling when everything goes the way it should when you order parts.:) It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside when the parts arrive on time.

Did they send you summit stickers when you ordered? I thought they said they'd send stickers to everyone, but I didn't get them.
Maybe they sent them to my brother who recieved the order though.
Thats great that it only took that long to get there. I think when I ordered it took nearly 3 weeks. Their excuse: Takes longer to ship to Canada.

Summit

Only problem I've ever had with Summit was when I ordered my TFTW heads, RR's, push rods, valve covers, etc. This was the only time I ever needed advice on what to order, and the sales rep completely blew it. He was a newbie and didn't know his @$$. I did get everything correct after a few calls to TrickFlow and then afew more calls to Summit before the order was shipped, so everything turned out OK. But don't always believe it when they say "just ask your friendly sales rep".

Hey kevn, what were the duties like when you ordered from Summit?

Kevn 08-04-2002 01:46 AM

Duties? Nothing really. I just expected to add at least half to what I paid so that I wouldnt be surprised when I got the bill. Dads Visa card anyways :)
but yeah, I ordered that expensive shipping and it took 3 weeks anyways? wus up wif dat? <--- whoops ebonics slip :D lol
They totally missed my brother birthday, I don't think I'll order the expensive shipping again.

They didn't charge S&H. No, I didn't get any summit stickers, I think I will ask about it, I'm going to order some bolts tonight.

When you order anything from Summit, they always send you 2 stickers in their little baggie they send you. I have about 30+ of these stickers. Maybe I can sell them back to Summit :D If you didn't get any, it's because I have them all ;)
