Sadly we must understand that there are people out there who own nice cars, but only see them as nice "transportation" and don't really know what they got. And yes, those cars should be taken away from them and they should be given Geo Metros-- there's your nice transportation.

My car has stood outside for 12 winters. Snow on the car isn't any worse than letting it get wet. The salt on the road is what does the real damage. I've got 165,000 miles on my car and every one was great. I put the 351 in 3 years ago and already have 50,000 on it.

I guess some people like to look at their car and some people like to drive them.

I have no problem with that guy whatsoever.

Just put the darned thing in the garage. Come on people it isn't hard. It pisses me off how people won't spend two minutes to do little sh*t like that.

Hi,
Hehe, this was my stang last winter:

It's just a regular 5.0L with a few minor things (see my links below for pics and specs).

I've seen many people drive/keep their 5.0Ls in the winter, but c'mon, this is a Cobra! These things are rare, and thats why I felt bad...

Bye!

What if Eleanor was in the garage? Or his 427 Cobra? Or both? Neither snow or rain will kill the car if it is properly washed and waxed. The sun and dry air will do more damage.

In his garage? Most people use a garage to store crap. We all have a lot of it and the garage is a perfect place. Other times a garage might be the guys workshop, there are a million reasons why people don't keep their cars in the garage. Our reason is the garage is a single car, and we just finished combining two houses into one so a lot of stuff needs storage, we just don't have the room! Plus I think my dad would rather keep his boat in there. We do have a carport but it's also being used for storage. Storage is a necessity.

If I got a mustang right now (in addition to the one already parked in the driveway) I would /have/ to keep it on the street. No other place for it, rain or snow. I might buy a car cover though.
