I'm not that good. I could sit down with anyone and teach them how to do all this stuff in a matter of minutes. Learning the tools is a piece of cake. It's using them together to accomplish something that takes practice and experience. Especially selections, blending modes, and mixing filters.

The PS Bible is a good reference book to have, but i can never sit down and read a book like that. If I were in school it would be different.

The best way to learn is hands on, and have the book handy so you can look up things you have problems with. Actually, the help section in Photoshop will teach you a lot so use it!
