Phrases under name
How do you change what it says under your name?:confused:

Go to "USER CP" and then to "Edit Options"....there will be a little box about half way down or so I think (trying to remember without actually looking) that will say something about that....There's a little box that you can type whatever into and that's it.....

1 More post and you'll be a senior member again. Heh.
Click on user cp, just about the topics in the forum. There may also be a link in the "goto forum" field to user control panel. Once you are there, click on edit profile. 1/2 way down the "edit profile" options list you'll see "Custom User Text." There will be a form box to the right and a check box right after it saying reset. All you have to do is type your new description into that box, and submit. |

i don't see it either!! i am on my profile page and there is nothing showing custom user text.

Trust me guys, it's not there for him. I walked him through step by step. There is nothing between bitthdate, and Additional Information.

Dan figured it out. During the first week of the new boards, anyone with any amount of posts could alter that subtitle thing. But now he's straightened things out and only people with 1500 posts can change it. But for lucky people like ME who changed it during that one week get to KEEP IT!!! WOO HOO!!!!

Man, I went nuts, Swore at my computer. Kicked it, then grunted, turned and kicked my COmputer center. Went outside smoked a cigarette, Raised my hands above my head Yelled some unintellagable stuff. Swore at the tree. Ran over and kicked it. Punched the tree. Ouch...
Came back inside, tried for 10 more minutes. Punched and kicked myself. Then read the rest of the thread and came to find out that I wasnt stupid after all......umm....yeah..:rolleyes: I gotta while to go before I hit 1500. I was gonna say Behold the X-mas Pig. Or something equally as stupid. :D |
