Please read, I need help!
I'm in the process of looking for new shocks and struts for my 88'GT drop top. All I have been able to come up with is KYB's. But should I go with the standard or adjustable ones? Or should I go with a different brand name? Any help would be great, so please help me. I'm new at this performance world but want to learn desperitly. I will be adding lowering springs also. I only want to go about 2" lower. Should I do that all at the same time(replace shocks, struts, springs)? Is there a kit for all of it thats good? Please help!

If you plan on lowering the car don't buy KYB's. The KYB's are a nice aftermarket upgrade for stock ride heights. They give a ride slightly better than stock. They do NOT like lowered cars. If you plan on doing it all at once, I'd try to get the place you are buying the goods from to put together a package to meet your needs. Koni's and other more expensive shocks and struts are ALOT better than KYB's. The KYB's are just for stock replacements. Good luck.
