Default Please show me the wheels on your Fox Body!!

I'm looking for new wheels. I'm tired of my silver Cobra R's. I'm considering getting chrome or polished wheels. I still have the four lug axle though.

Please post some great looking wheels on your Fox!!

Thanks!

If your thinking of selling them, what size are they, and do they have tires that your willing to sell with them?

On my car, I'm running the stock '89 GT wheels, they look a lot better on a '79 though, IMO

actually, it would be nice to see some rims OTHER than cobra's, cobra r's, and anything from a stock Ford or Ford racing catalog! Who has some new rims on a foxbody that are aftermarket?! Anybody? There are very few advertisements for fox rims even if you search wheel makers, they don't have much specific to Mustangs....what's the deal?

Default What about Welds?

Hmmm, well you might not like the Weld wheels either. They're pretty popular too. To me, they have more of the drag race look than the car show type of rims like the Cobra Rs.

Anyway, you can find photos of my wheels here:

LX5091: I agree! Let's see some ROH's! Any others?! I'd like to see some bullit syle on a fox - polished or chrome. Has anyone seen a '96 style cobra wheel on a fox?

Mustangman65-79: I think I already have a buyer for them. But since you asked, they're 17" x 9", 4 lug Speedware with silver metalic powder coat, excellent condition. Tires are a bit worn but have at least 10 - 15k miles left. If your interested, let me know if the other guy bails.

Stang_Crazy: Where did you get your '93 cobras, and how much? Those wheels can be expensive, from what I've seen.

Guys/gals, post some pics!!

sorry to take over your post davegt......

you guys have some nice rims, but does anyone have some newer styles, not necessarily "ricer" rims, but something cutting edge....I think that's what davegt is getting at....something new and fresh

Demon- Those Convo Pro's are BAD***!!! Do you have skinnies on the front? Where did you get them from and about how much are they each without tires?

I saw a Fox with stock '95 Cobra wheels on it and it looked sweet. I've got Draglites on my Fox, which I'm sure you've seen plenty of so I won't bother posting a pic of them. Edelbrock makes some cool new wheels that are reminiscent of '60s wheels but come in modern sizes and offsets that you might want to look at. I bought Torque Thrust II's for my new car to replace my Cobra R's because everyone had them. This was before they came out with the Bullitt style wheels as an option on GT's and now I am kind of bummed that so many cars have wheels that are similar to mine again (at least mine are polished aluminum and wider than stock, though).

Here are my American Racing Polished Aluminum wheels. They've seen better days because they just went threw a Chicago winter. I'll probably buff them up when I get some time. ~Brian

I hate my wheels, I could no longer stand the look of the original "10hole" wheels, and couldnt afford the tires I would need with either 16 or 17" wheels at the time I got these, so these were my pick of the 15" wheels at the time with the 4x4.25 bolt pattern.

I think a different set of wheels would really change the look of my car for the better.

I wonder what 93 cobra's look like on coupes? I know the 99 cobra's are absolutely gorgeous on them.

Time to break out the ole' photoshop
