a poem for our 4 banger friends
 

I posted this awhile back, but it was so funny I had to do it again



Twas the night before Christmas and caught and the light,

Was a domestic V-8 with no cops in sight,

I will try, I will try, I will try this small motor,

To beat this five-o, even with its big stroker,

As the light goes green and I pull like no joke,

The five-o erupts in a cloud of tire smoke,

Now Smasher, now Revver, now Stroker, now Blitzin,

These are the names of my four VTEC pistons,

Racing ahead I'm the star of the action,

But I know I'm in trouble when that V-8 gets traction,

Grabbing second I heat the RPM sing,

My mirror is blocked by my shopping cart wing,

I now hear the roar of that big monster gaining,

All I can do is keep that four-banger straining,

In a secound the shockwave hits with a blast,

And my stickers go flying, a thing of the past,

Don't bother with third, cause now it's too late,

Just try to act cool like you can relate,

Looking up at the taillights as they get smaller,

The driver backs off just to give me a holler,

You can't win them all, he says in fling,

You may not win any, in that silly thing,

I smiled and revved as he pulled out of sight,

With my new mods tomorrow...it will be a better night.

I think it has been almose a year since I heard that, but it is still funny.:)

LOL that is pretty funny :) but comming from the turbo DSM world i would have to say not all 4bangers are slow but i know it was about rice... not about someone who actually spent money on mods

HA HA, dude that is the best christmas poem i've heard in a long time. I am in the process of printing it, i think ill leave it on the windows of some of the local ricers in my town.

That my friends is a beautifull piece of poetry. Thats what I'll read my GrandKids (If I ever have any :( ) on Christmass eve.

does anyone remember when somebody posted alternate lyrics for Ice Ice Baby? Man that was some funny dung. If someone knows what I am taling about, repost it so we can all have a good laugh again. :)
