Poems...

I just read a good poem. it goes like this:
As the October afternoon drew near, the once mighty warrior mounted his high-octane, black-winged steed with little more packed than his tarnished armor, chipped sword, bleeding heart, an ounce of hope and a small fire of passion that still flowed through his thick veins. Dreams of a beautiful princess with majestic deep eyes and a heart of gold occupied his mind as he rode off into the blazing sunset.
Awakened by a soft tapping of the door, our hero sprang to his feet. The door opened to reveal a magnificent beauty that was not possible in his wildest imagination. The small fire of passion came to blaze within his veins. His eyes turned green with desire and admiration. Do angels truly exist?
That night his life was changed forever. She held him, touched him, made love to him...she polished his armor and sharpened his sword. That October night, he found his true love. ........E.M.

Anyone got any? Mercury?

While Traveling To Places of Peace

As a fresh, cool breeze on a cool spring day,
Caresses my skin as I drive down the way,
While traveling to places of peace that I go,
Considering all of the fullness I know,

As ears kiss the hum of the mill and the Flows,
A sound indescribable, yes, I should know,
Whilst smelling the fumes of the oversized Holley,
I witness what seems a fool and his folly.

This thing, not domestic, "a Honda?" I think,
It's orange, with sparkles, it's purple and pink,
With stickers and fog lights excessively strewn,
It wasn't from Earth, perhaps from the moon.

On circles of gold, silver, and white,
With spokes spinning wildly with all of their might,
Wrapped in rubber too small for the circular lights,
Which stuck out too far from the vehicle's sides.

The cowl reached the heavens, the tint spoke of hell,
Ground effects-ladened. The car? Couldn't tell.
The rear brought back memories, pull-ups on limbs,
Hey, I could really use this guy's jungle gym.

And what broke the silence as if fencing with bees?
This hideous thing started throwing revs at me.
The audacity clenched my heart with a twist,
Respect must be taught to this little piss....

Slowing down to 35,
Looking over into its eyes,
Giving the nod, feeling the rise,
Adrenaline pumps, predicting demise.

Allowing the jump, delaying the kill,
Ready to smash, at my own will,
Bumper to back, jets start to fill,
Slamming the pedal, reving the mill.

Explosions of power,
The thunder gets louder,
The speed kills the doubter,
As rice I devour.

Nah, there's no looking back for me,
For rice I cannot see
As I look through the trees
As the birds softly tweet
Through the crisp, spring breeze,
Whilst the hum of the mill,
Gives me joy and the thrill
Causes knees to be weak.

While traveling to places of peace that I go,
And the thoughts of the days lift the pains that I know,
Then I know them no more,
For they all slip away......

STREET RACING

Cars nothing better than cars
you can drive for hours
and not give a care about the wear and tear

Blue, Black and even white all looking forward to the fight of their life.
They pull up to the line, looking for the best E/T time
They both rev. the engine to the redline
looking at each other trying to intimadate them for the last time of the night.
The flager look at the racers to check if their ready
Both racers hold their shifters very very steadly
The arms are down and the race is on
They shift the cars 1st then 2nd
still burning the rubber for about 3 secs.
But in a matter of about 12 sec. the race is all over
The race is now over and both car are tired
it was a intense race and to the victor goes the win and all the glory.

So tell me what you guys think.
Made Feb. 22, 2002.

My 69 Mustang is very fast
once you step on the gas its like a blast from the past

when you hear me coming all the way down the street.
you better hop in your rice rocket and better retreat.

It may not be the fastest stang in the world but
I hit the gas and believe you me you would believe it was
I eat rice about 3 times a day
and according to the horse doctor it keeps the slowness bug away
I eat other american foods like a Z28
a piece of cake in the shape of a bowtie man it taste great
when the tires are buring and the adrenoline is up
the first thing you think of is ***** man is that a cop
then you relize its not, so you pop the top and let it all hang out

My 69 Mustang is very fast
once you step on the gas its like a blast from the past

Made that last year and just updated it.
