Aluminum Driveshaft?
A buddy of mine is in need of a driveshaft, preferrably an aluminum driveshaft for his 90 lx with a T5. If anybody has one he needs it asap. Thanks

"My Buddy"
lmao.... Hey Adam....is this "buddy" paying for it? Your "buddy" can locate a new one from Ford Racing, Brothers Performance and nearly any reputable parts vendor. Will run about $200.00-$250.00 with shipping.
If you looking for a fast, inexpensive, used one.. hmmmmm..maybe by the grace of God you'll find a salvaged one at a pic-n-pull....We usually don't leave those high quality aluminum driveshafts laying around, sorry Bud.... ~Jenn~ P.S. I kept putting "buddy" because I noticed you have the same car your Buddy has..That's cool...Is it really you? LOL:D ;) And Nice Z71 set-up you have, even if it is a Chevy....Big Manly Truck! |
:)
Hi Adam....
I think I paid about $175 for mine.....You might Try Tommy Vaughn out of Houston. They are not that expensive, if you cant find anyone that has one to sell. It ran about $169+ Tax and all that stuff.... one of my mechanics got it for me but you should be able to find one for under $200 if you cant find anyone w/ a spare....Good luck! :) I know I've seen them for about $170 or less in MM&FF from alot of different parts dealers....Good luck! :D TNT :D |
No its really my friend we just happened to have the same year and style car. I was just seeing if i could get lucky and get one cheaper used. But i guess we'll be taking another trip to tommy vaughn. Thanks.
Adam BTW: My big manly truck is up for sale if anyone wants it. |

Us mustang boys can feel good in the fact that we can get a new aluminum drive shaft for $169+tax and shipping.. the chevy boys pay $369+. Tell your friend to buy a new driveshaft and consider himself lucky, he is saving $200.
