351w TBI injector

I have a '91 Crown Vic Police Car w/a 351w
throttle body injected engine. I would like to know if the TBI unit can be swapped for a 4-bbl, and problems, if any from the computer
unit....Any help would would be appreciated...Thanks, Ed

Ed- It can be done...and done fairly easily. You'll need a carb, intake manifold, distributor, and a fuel pump. The computer can stay in the car...it won't really effect the performance of the car. And you'll need the distributor since the computer controlled Duraspark unit needs the computer to advance the timing. You'll need the fuel pump because the stock CFI (or TBI, whatever) pump will overload the carb since it pumps at about 40psi. Most CFI cars also have an in-line booster pump that's mounted on the frame that supplements the in-tank pump. I've done this same swap on my Mustang...(CFI'd 302) so if you need any help just shoot me a private message.
