The other fast and furious post is too long, started a new one

The charger wheelstand, for the movie's sake, was fake. If you go to the website and download the trailer, you can see hydraulic arms attached at the rear of the car, protruding forward. When he guns it, the arms lift the car. This is why he is able to lose traction BEFORE the wheels get off the ground.

Warmed over 302,
Edelbrock Carb, MSD, Accel, t-5 w/ frpp flywheel & clutch, Hurst shifter, traction bars, ds safety loop, subframes, 3.08 posi, shorties, H, and Flows. Same setup w/ auto netted a 12.54 @ 110.90
in a 300 lbs heavier car.
Can't wait till Spring for E-town.

This might already have been mentioned in one of the other posts, but smoking the front tires (I don't remember which seen) made me chuckle a bit. Fast car or not, but front tires spinning just doesn't seem right.

When I was in high school, my parents had a 74 Olds Toronado. 455, Turbo 400 trans, and front wheel drive. That baby could smoke 'em. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif

I know the burnout/wheelie was bad, but come on, they used nitrous like they were hitting the turbo boost on KITT in Knight Rider. Nitrous Oxide Systems is going to be taking a lot of calls explaining how nitrous really works.
