Made my car too slow
 

Since times are tough money wise I decided to sell my nitro kit on my car. Almost sold the whole car for 12 grand:rolleyes: . I put my 3:73 gears back in it for highway friendly use. I then wanted to test it out. It was almost as slow as a zo6....What have I done to my baby. I am now kicking myself in the butt. But there is still one good drawback. I still win races everyday. I guess when the money starts rolling back in I will put on a supercharger. Anyone have a good idea what brand and psi with my set-up?

Damn, slow as a Z06? That's pretty shameful. On the bright side, you may have spared that T-5 of yours for a while. HEhehehe.:cool:

Hey Unit, How does that bbk sound...I have a bbk off-road on and a bbk hi-flow with cats brand new in the basement. Was thinking of putting it on now because emmissions are around the corner. Do you think it will make it sound girly or what. I mean Not as mean sounding?

IMHO a muffled thunder is more appealing than a hollow loudness. When I bought the car it had straight pipes with no cats. I like the BBK/Cat setup better. It does quiet it down a bit, but I like it a little quieter. When I get on it, you can still hear the engine roar above my 2 Tens in the back, but it can also be quiet when that cop is sitting and staring at you. LOL.

You only faster than 12.4's, I feel sorry for you.....:p

Now that is true unit.

.....still think your motor is putting out hella power, but when your used to the n20, it probaly feels slow.

dang brian sorry you had to sell your nitro kit that sucks, im sure your car is still plenty powerful though,hey e-mail me later if that guy still wants the tranny he can have converter & 5.0 flywheel also, but he has to come get it, see ya----i will meet him in chattanooga.
