Thumbs way up

BearStang - Do you have any more drawings you could post? Those are sweet!

Thanks

Yeh, they are pretty nice drawings.
And cyberstang5.0 I love your stang. :D I think I told you before but I thought I'd mention it again. I love the colour (Us Canadians spell it with a 'U') combo. :D

That's like the most commonly done combo done on Fox Mustangs, so it should be easy to find TONS of pics. I agree about the drawings, VERY nicely done :)

Thanks for the compliments. I do have many more, but most of the illustrations are too large for the scanner.
I do freelance automotive illustrations on the side. The drawing of the Cobra/Saleen rear and on my avatar are illustrations I designed for my new paint job. The scanner doesn't do the illustrations justice, the bottom is titanium to match the 18" BBK Cobra R replicas. I purchased a full Cobra body kit, 1.5" hood and Saleen wing to replace my GT ground FX. Should go in early next month and be finished by Feb.

I put both halves together, it isn't great, but about all I can do with MS paint.

Does anyone make an 18"X24" scanner?

MTU 50 12-12-2001 06:50 PM

Thanks

I wasn't sure if you drew them or just had the jpeg's laying around on your computer. I'm impressed.

In high school I did an alright drawing of a 91-93 GT, but it was nothing compared to what you've done.

How long does it take you to draw something like that?

Again Thanks, and if you ever get more scanned please post em'

Jeff

Those sketches are sweet. I'll have to post mine sometime though mine are more cartoonish kinda like the avatar under my name but with more detail.

If I had a scanner I'd put my drawings of Lifted Ford trucks That I have drawn, but they arn't as good as your BearStang. Can U draw a '66 Mustang?

BearStang 12-13-2001 10:14 AM

It largely depends upon the layout, if I want to put in a background, how much detail, and how much time I can spend away from the family. We just had our 3rd child in October, so I don't have much time for anything.

It can take as little as 2 hours, but I have worked on a single layout for over 2 months. A friend of mine commissioned me to draw his '69 Camaro drag car. I did a full poster size with a side, 3/4, engine, and interior view. I charged him $250.00 matted and framed, he has it hanging up in his bar, looks killer.

Yes, I can draw anything. I know I have a few older Mustang drawings, just not sure where they are at. I'll see if I can dig them up and scan them. I've taken some layouts to a professional print shop and had copies made, they turn out great. Thought about getting some of my better works done and selling the prints for about $10-$20, would be cheap compared to the originals.
