Bad news about my car
 

Well the body shop called today. They talked to my dad and they told him the damage was between 3500 and 4500.The frame is bent a little and they can fix it and the windshield broke because the pillar is now 1/16th out. The fenders hood bumper headlights and all that type of **** need replaced to.

I think i am juts going to pay the car off and buy a new 1 and sell this 1 as a parts car.i don't really see much sense of putting another $4500. Ionly paid $4300 to begin with so i think the best bet would be to just buy a new 1.

it has to be a gt or a notchback(preferably gt) and be a 5spd.
there is also a 1970 dart swinger in the paper for 7500 so maybe i can get my dad to lend me some money
oh well i guess this spells the end of my gt

Damn, sorry to hear that! Can't you just find a 4 banger and take the whole driveline and put that in... or do you want to just find another 5 litre and start over? Let me know, cuz there's a few around here that aren't too bad..

i am just gonna go with another 5.0
my dad was right saying that it would be to hard to sawp drivelines in a 4 banger or at least thats wut the ppl in the windsor forum made it out to be

my dad was gonna help me out with the repair bills so maybe i can get him to help me out with buying another 1
the bad thing is though i still owe money on this 1

Sorry to hear that man! But look at the bright side....you get to start on another stang and doo all of the things you wanted to do but never did on the 90. Take care.
