i just dont see why people take what other people say on the internet so seriously! i was just recently private messaged by a member and this person took what i said seriously! then this person PM'd me and started to call me names! i was shocked! i laughed pretty hard! when it comes to giving and taking advice, i usually take that a little more seriously, but when you are just shooting the *crap*, then i dont see what the big deal is. help me understand.

I'm one to give people a lot of crap on here too. But I always try to remember to include a :D, ;), or :p with it.

Sometimes it's kind of hard to understand the "tone" or "feeling" of what a person is saying over the internet. People should just not assume they meant it one way or the other before blowing up. Just ask them nonchalantly and be cool about it. Will make everything easier.

Um.......new keyboards are about $15 at Meijer. That ol' excuse don't work no more. :( :p ;)

Dan's right, though. Caps absolutely suck to read for most of us, at least if it's more than a few sentences!

AMEN Brutha!!! Been on both sides of that spectrum myself! Another thing to keep in mind is we are all here cause of our love for our Stangs...and our 'friendships' we've made here on MW... I dont think that anything is ever meant to intentionally hurt anyone when it is just 'in fun' and b.s'ing...but everyone responds differently!
We can all tell when its in fun or when it is meant maliciously(for the most part, we try!), and I think over time as we get to learn each others personalities...we can see that most things are meant harmlessly. But sometimes our emotions over take our good sense and we strike out at others without meaning to, and regret it later on!...(I know I have!)

Yeh I hate reading the caps, =) I like to joke around alot so you'll see me say I'm just kiddin' don't take me seriously. lol I even tell people in real life don't take me seriously, you'll know when I want to be taken seriously. Life is to short to get mad and call names. I don't belive it's a big problem on this board because everyone gets along really well. That's what is great about this board.

It's very difficult for me not to type in caps. Here's the reason. I am a Parts Mgr. All Ford part numbers contain letters. They must be typed in caps. I'm using my computer for my parts inventory. I take a break and look here to see what new. Before I know it I'm typing in caps. I go back and retype it. So if I type in caps I'm not mad at anyone just stupid. RAY

I would assume your talking about me SRV1, I think your reply to my post was in poor taste and had bad timing. I also think that some of your PM's/e-mails were uncalled for too. Bonehead was referring to another thread in which he and I were discussing him selling a vehicle that he later discovered was extremely rare, and since then I call him Bonehead. He and I have a strong enough friendship that I don't fear him taking offense to it. He knows I don't mean any harm by it, just as I know he means no harm to me with some of his comments.

As far as you not always replying, I hear ya. I try to check the threads I've participated in, but sometimes they get overlooked. I did look forward to hearing from you regarding your asking me why I liked Macs, but I guess you missed that post too. It's tough with a busy schedule, I know! I often miss several days at a time.
