We need your prayers

I know I usually write off the wall & joking things, but
gt lee (my wife) has breast & lymph node cancer.

She'll be operated on Tuesday. I don't think it's real bad, but to me - it's bad enough. Odie is scared & so am I.

I hate the fact that she has to go through this but I'll be by her side ALL the way. I dont quite know what to do or say to help her so I'll just be by her side through whatever happens.

I appreciate & thank you all just for prayers.

I Thank all of you.

Marty :(

Ya'll are in my Prayers!!!

Marty,

I dont know what to say other than my thougths and Prayers are with you and Odie. I lost my brother in law about 12 years ago to cancer. He was only 30 at the time. I still think about him although I'm not still married to his brother anymore. Is Odie having to do kemotherapy?
I will keep both of you in my prayers and I wish the best for you. I hope if anything, that you know that there are people praying for her quick recovery and that all will be A O K in the end!!!! Please keep us up to date on the situation. God Bless Ya'll!!

I'm sorry

Marty, I am so sorry to hear this. My grandmother went through this a couple years ago. She had to have one breast removed and part of her spline, liver and pancreas. It was also in her LYmph nodes throughout her entire body. I am happsy to say that she came through it with flying colrs and is doing great know. Granted she has more frequent and thourough checkup's but it will be ok I promise. My prayers are with the both of you. I know how you feel and its hard but everything will be ok.

i agree with tod ,just do your best to keep your faith.......whenever i'm faced with a situation in my life that i know i don't have any control over......it helps me to think that there are things in life you just have to believe that god will take care of you..............fear and faith can't live in the same place.............

i wish her luck and trust that god will take good care of her

I wish I had some perfect words to give you in this situation, but I don't. I may not be the religious type, but I'll certainly be hoping for a happy conclusion to all this. Just gotta hang in there, and keep fighting.

Best Wishes,

Kell

I feel for you, i pray that noone has to go through what my little bro went through, he died at 21 yrs old (this past nov) from lymphoma, he had complications with respiratory though, her cancer is very treatable, even curable, just be there for her in every way possible, and be strong for her.

just ask questions, look up things on the internet, always know what the doctors plans are.

6T9PONY 01-14-2002 02:40 AM

Good luck to the both of you, Odie and Marty! I'm sure everything will turn out just great for you guys and Odie will be as happy and healthy as ever in a short time! Cancer is a very scary thing. It's definitely normal to be scared, but you have to show your strength and courage through that fear, and be confident that Odie's health will be restored. Marty, be strong through this, and do everything in your power to keep Odie's spirits high and her thoughts positive.

I'm sorry I didn't see this thread sooner. I've been off the boards for a couple days. Good luck to both of you on Tuesday. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I just went through your experience with a very close friend. She had breast cancer in one of her breasts. She had a really tough time, but she has made it just fine. It has been two years now and she is cancer free. We have such wonderful medical technology these days. I hope and pray for the very best for you and Odie.
