My good deed for the day

Went to the library and got my tax forms to send off my income tax.

I was leaving and backed out, ready to pull out of the lot, but I had to wait on grandma to decide where she was gonna park . Well, this old fart backed right into her driver door, put it in drive and took off!!!

I pulled up and told her to stay there I will be right back, so I chased him till he pulled into a parking lot (he didn't see me) and got his tag number, went back and gave it to her.

She was so upset. I told her "Here, I got this for you but I don't want to get involved."

She said: "Thank You Young Lady" .AAHHHH..made me feel good.

Did I do the right thing? I kept thinking, man, if someone did that to my mom or my grandma, i'd be pissed as hell.

i had someone do same thing for me one time, i got rear ended and he drove away i tried to chase him but couldn't catch up to him so while on phone to the police a guy came by and had the plate number and said they guy had almost hit a few others before me.

Cool.

Your next good deed should be to put your thread in a different colour. I find red so hard to read. :p :)

We need more nice people in the world. Especially when it comes to cars. I can't stand when people mess with some ones car. Be it vandalism or accident.

Danni I give you a high 5, that was a great thing you did. A lot of people out there would have said, forget it, but being the kind lady you are you did the right thing. Proud of ya Lee:cool:

Kudos

Dani:

You did a good deed, congratulations.

So did I. I fixed the color on your post to aviod early blindness in our members.

Please try to avoid dark colors when posting, they're mostly unreadable and dark red is really annoying to try and read.

Yes you did. Thank you. If it were my car that got hit, I would've been VERY greatful for your service.

Oh and thanks for changing the colour Mr 5.0, I thought my eyes were going to bug out on me. :)

Red vs any other color

95mustanggt:

There is quite a difference between 4 simple letters/numbers in a signature (which can be ignored) and a message that one is attempting to actually read.

I would have thought that would be obvious to all. Guess not.

YU GO MAMA!

DANI: I'd have done the same thing!!!!!!
My ex witnessed a guy from a Jewelry store at the mall parking lot get pistol whipped and his case of jewelry stolen. He went over there in his powerstroke, and got the guy, told him to get in, and they proceeded to chase the guys while they called the cops on the cell phone. The cops told them to chill out, they'd take care of it.
He had to go try to identify them, and in turn the Jewelry store gave him a watch.

You did good!!!!! Lemme buy you a drink! hehe;) Topless

Oh well It didn't stop there...Later on I was going to pick up a couple of rotating assembiles from the balance job, and some chick crunched my bosses truck on the pass side of the truck in front. I had to chase her down. She said she didn't know it and she acted suprised when she looked at her tracker, but how can you not know you hit someone??? I did get her insurance info and today I am so sore. My shoulders are really sore and I have a horrible headache. :(
