I saw Kid Rock Sat. night!
OMG!!!! We went out to the Woodlands Outdoor Pavillion on Saturday night for KID ROCK..... I know alot of people dont like him, but it was GREAT!!!!!! I dont have a clue who the opening band was...Its about an hour drive to the Pavillion from where we are.
I know alot of his stuff is pretty raunchy, but the new CD is GREAT!!!! Its not ALL raunchy! Especially tracks # 5,7,9,and 11 are GREAT! "Cocky" is good too. But its not for young ears! :eek: They had some really cool stuff to buy! I spent about $200 on stuff! From Tshirts to belt buckles to thongs! hahahaha! I hate rap, but he was REALLY good! :) TNT Cant drink you off my mind, so I'll see you when I'm sober... |
kid's coming to knoxville soon , our radio station in chattanooga is giving away ticket's maybe i will get lucky & win a pair:D yeah right not with my luck:rolleyes: :)

That is cool as hell, TNT! Lots of people don't like the kid but I get a rush off of it;).. I wanted to go see Bad Co. (in Myrtle Bch) Friday night but got off work too late:(. Wide Spread Panic was playing in Raleigh as well and I had free tickets to that one... had to work... Grrr!!! Missed Atlanta because of work too!!! Oh well, I turned 34 Friday and my folks had a cook out for me, all the family was there.. that was cool:). Last night I bought a keg and 'we' did our little thing.. I let my bro and buddy ride my new bike. After about 4 blast by the house(at over 100mph) I had to wave him down and tell him its time to put it up(before the law shows up):D. Next weekend Big Head Todd and the Monsters are playing the hob in Myrtle bch, I'll be there.

I guess i will have to be the first one to say i dont like him. I think he sucks lol. I dont like how he talks like he is such a rockstar when he raps :confused: I feel the same way about Fred Durst. I dislike them both and i think there music is crappy but everyone can have thier opinion. I respect Kid Rock more than Fred Durst just because he actually talks about like classic rock bands but i still dont like him.

Thats cool. Everyone is entitled to thier opinion. Actually, I dont even really know why they put the word "rap" w/ him. I dont see a whole lot of rap in his music, more rock than rap. But thats just my opinion. I dont know who the other guy is! :confused: :D:p

If only he'd come to Vancouver to play rather than to meet Pam Anderson's parents!:rolleyes: When he was here in December one of the local rock stations made him promise that he'd come do a show here.

Wow I was there too... didn't think any1 off the board would be there lol....have to say it was a great concert... sure where a lot of people celebrating 4/20 though... lol :rolleyes:

He's not the best vocalist in the world, but not too bad IMO. The new CD is damn good too. I'd like to go see him one day. And I don't compare him to Fred durst at all (not that you were comparing them MidNiteBlu 5.0). They are fairly different to me. Also, I don't think Kid raps too much on his albums. I don't think of his albums as "rap" albums at all. Its just all around good music. I have been sick of Durst for a while now, but Limp Bizkit still has a few good songs. Most are on the older Three Dollar Bill album though. |

I personally THOUGHT Kid Rock was an alright artist. Then his songs kept being repeated and repeated and repeated and repeated :D . Then his new album came out and He went like Hip Hop Metal rap mix and that Lost me.

I loved kid rock i saw him in concert here in fayetteville and the best part was i payed nothing for the tickets i was in my basketball coaches suite cause he had extra tickets so i took my dad and we loved it. you probaly had Tenacious D for the opening band we had LIT and they ROCKED. IT all rocked, kid got on every insturment and played them awesome and not to metion the girls dancin on stage:D they were hot. P.S. you say kid rock is not for young people what you mean by young im only 15 but i saw little 6 and 7 years old there.
