Cool Tunes I Never Hear Anymore
I was turned onto some really cool music last night, and I found myself going through my iTunes player, listening to some of my favorite tunes that I never hear on the radio anymore, and I felt like sharing some. These are all great, IMO, and I encourage you to find and listen to them.
These songs are in no particular order: Rainbow - Difficult To Cure Black Sabbath - Die Young Motley Crue - Anarchy In The U.K. Judas Priest - Blood Red Skies Queen - It's Late No Doubt - Don't Speak Billy Joel - Scenes From An Italian Restaurant 707 - I Could Be Good For You Metallica - Sanitarium Boomtown Rats - I Don't Like Mondays ELO - Wild West Hero Ozzy - You Looking At Me Looking At You Extreme - He Man Woman Hater Simon & Garfunkel - America Queensryche - The Lady Wore Black Pat Travers - Boom Boom (Out Go The Lights) Sammy Hagar - Give To Live Rainbow - Weiss Heim Meat Loaf - Paradise By The Dashboard Light Take care, -Chris |

Those are some great examples of lost music that should be revamped and played again guys. PKRWUD turned me onto Extreme and the song "He Man Woman Hater" by far the wildest guitar solo in world history, Thank you Chris. No Doubts "Dont Speak" still gets played quite a bit here actually. Alot of those other songs I know but like you guys I just dont hear them anymore. I would like to add to the list of songs not heard often enough:
In the Air Tonight - Phil Collins Born In The USA, Glory Days - Bruce Springsteen Turn the Page, Hollywood Nights - Bob Seager White Wedding - Billy Idol Anything by the Doors its all good Thunderstruck - AC/DC Keep your hands to yourself - Georgia Satelittes Funk #49 - James Gang Breaking the Law - Juda Priest Black Betty - Ram Jam Anything by ZZ TOP, you can never have enough ZZ TOP playin These are jsut a few of the songs I'd like to hear played more often. Marty-
Yeah, thanks to you, I just had to dig out Strong Arm Of The Law! Thanks! pony_power_90- I guess it just depends on where you live. About half of the songs you listed are regulars on the radio here. That's kinda funny. Still, great tunes! Take care, -Chris |

I'm with you topless.. I've heard about half the songs Marty and Chris listed... guess I've got some downloading to do:) Brad, you got good taste but they play that stuff on occasion here. Still... great music :) I'm lost in the 80's folks. I love this new music but I miss hearing my Foreignor, Journey and Genesis. Foreignor especially.. Headknocker, rev on the red line(never heard this on the radio), at war with the world(no radio play either)... I could go on.. Any of you guys listen to Everclear?? |
