Sorry if this isnt deserving of the space, but I see all these meets and get togethers and well frankly I get jealous. I just want to know if there is anybody close to the Kansas City area so we could have our own meets and such......well let me know?

I'm in the KC area...just north in Weston.

Yep, I'm from Sidney, NE. I'm not very close to KC at all though, I'm clear in the panhandle. Right on I-80.

So from those in the KC area are there any groups that get together?

I've driven through a few times.

Ya know, it probably doesn't feel like it, but actually you're pretty lucky. You are really well situated for events that go on elsewhere. We talked about a nationwide get together a few months ago, but it's just not going to work for people at either coast. But centrally located the way you are would be great. I've been having this itch to go to Houston lately, and Kansas is a lot closer than California!

I live south of Wichita about 30 miles. I feel pretty lucky, I have 2 tracks within 40 minutes and another 3 within 3 hours. Come on down, I'll give you a run! ;)

That wouldn't even be a run haha, wait till the warrenty on my 3.8 is up here in about 5 to 6 months and let me drop my 302 GT40 crate engine in and then I can at least loose with some respect lol!! Yeah we have KCIR (kansas city international raceway) for drag racing, also heartland park in Topeka, and if you like Nascar there's a track 15 minutes from my house!!! We have stangers just n organization!!!
