Toxic Cloud
There's a huge dark cloud looming over the county, and its still growing and growing, of course, we're told there's no serious risk from it either. There was a fire at a plastics plant about 5 miles from where I live at 2:30 this morning. And they said it was about 2 million pounds of plastics and molds that caught. The Fire chief says that they're gonna let it burn really hot because that's the easiest way to get rid of the harmful chemicals, otherwise the environmental cleanup would be more costly.
I dunno, when I look out my back window and it looks like an F-5 tornado in the distance, and everything is hazy, I gotta wonder, is it really any good for anyone? I'm venting a little I know, but it still bothers me. The fire started from an electrical panel that exploded. Its listed on http://www.cbc.ca/stories/2002/06/21/fire_020621 and I'm not sure where else right now.
Anyway, I suppose it'll still be here for a while. I just hope its not harmful to anyone.
