130A Alternator on 2.3
 

I was told that 130A alternators off of newer style ford vehicles with bolt right up to a 2.3 so my question is...what vehicle do I need to get an alternator for at the parts store (I know they should be able to tell me but the parts people around here are DUMB) I am wreaking havoc on my current 75A alternator with my system and outher lil helpful things in my car...so any help would be appreciated

I would like to know the same thing, I need to install one in my Bro's car. I put a 130 amp alternator in my 5.0 and it works really good :D

I believe any 94+ one will work, but just to be safe get one off a 94 or 95. You need to beef up the wire too...but I can't remember which one:confused:

Oh as for the core charge, just take in your old alt. of your "94 GT"....if ya know what I mean;)
