This could get serious if they continue this upward climb

Are you kidding?

$1.59 for 87? That's cheap by standards out here. Easily pay $1.80 for 87 if you are in the wrong part of town.

Maroon 5.0 LX 08-20-2002 03:19 PM

Yep, crude just went up $3 a barrel today. Probably expect it to go high as heck in the future with all this threat of war crap in the Middle East.

induction 08-20-2002 03:28 PM

Yup thats prety cheap for us I filled up today at $1.63 at Shell. I think it's at $2.37 a gallon in Blythe, good luck going to vegas .

6T9PONY 08-20-2002 03:46 PM

Man....I thought it was bad here, but I guess not! In my Ranger I get 87 octance for $1.509, and for my Stang I get 91 octane for $1.609. I feel sorry for you guys!:(

Drewkeen 08-20-2002 04:08 PM

jj_jonathon 08-20-2002 04:26 PM

its about 1.55-1.62 for premium 93 here....

blue00gt 08-20-2002 05:06 PM

Hey Deuce - you aint kiddin' about the beach down there in San Clemente. I was visiting a buddy and we spent the day at The Fisherman's on the beach there. Great scenery - lot's of healthy specimens requiring sunglasses for proper inspection.

PKRWUD 08-20-2002 07:30 PM

I heard them say on the news today that gas prices will be going up sharply over the next few months. So what? It's still cheaper than milk.

You guys down south are paying too much! USA on Thompson in Ventura was 1.51 for 87 today, and most of the others were around 1.53. I saw it for 1.43 in Oxnard the other day, but I'd never suggest that someone should intentionally go to Oxnard.

Take care,
~Chris

mustangII460 08-20-2002 07:58 PM

Stang_Crazy 08-20-2002 08:23 PM

MustangKelly96 08-20-2002 11:05 PM

Topless In Texas 08-20-2002 11:09 PM

Yah, I put $10 in tonight and wondered why my damn needle didn't even hit the 1/2 empty mark! Then I looked..It was at $1.49...93 Premium.... (I was obviously running on fumes!) TNT

MustangKelly96 08-20-2002 11:17 PM

polara7777 08-20-2002 11:17 PM

One word everyone...motorcycle. :) Takes me 6 bucks worth of premium to fill it up and that will last me more than 200 miles.

RBatson 08-20-2002 11:22 PM

$1.19 here for 87. New super-walmart just moved in around the corner sooo.... $1.14 with the 'Sam Walton' discount.

Gas is cheaper in Georgia for some reason, dunno why.

Don't laugh too hard Duece, if you've never been to Savannah then you're really missing out. That has got to be the biggest party town I've ever been to...
