Well, after doing all that work to the car, I just got tired of it not running like I wanted.. So I traded it in. My tranny was on the brink of failure anyways, so that would have been another 2G's to get a good auto installed. Then, I still had the normal 98 heads, so, that's another 1500 for parts, and another 500-1000 for install (already talked to a mechanic about that, dealer would have been worse). My rear bumper and side panels needed repainting (another 400.00)... My H-Pipe got bent all to hell on a parking curb (another 400.00). After all the things started adding up, a new car just started looking better and better... I would have bought another Mustang had they made them in T-Top and 6-Speed (not spending 41K on a Cobra).. Don't get me wrong, I liked having the Mustang and all... it was just time for mine to change hands.
A word of advice to those of you wanting to change out wheels. Don't let anyone talk you in to 18" Wheels and Tires if you plan on racing..... it really hurts.......... I prob would have run a little faster if I hadn't had 285/18's in the front and rear.
Also, Titan. The problem you are/were having with my site not showing up is common. What happens is, for the link bar to work your computer has to load 4 Java Class files from my web server. Sometimes they take a little while to load. If you are on a single channel ISDN, 56k Modem or Frame line, then load it again and give it a few minutes. Even though it appears to be stalled out, it will load properly. Another common cause of things like this comes from Campus Networks, I don't whether or not you reside in a Dorm Room, but if you are using the LAN on campus it could very well be that the particular link you take to get to my section of the net was congested at the time. Those class files are the only ones I can't really compress on my site, so they tak a little while longer to load. I looked in my event logs, and I didn't see any serious errors in there that were realted to missing files or transmission errors. If you have further probs with it, feel free to PM me, as I work with this stuff daily...
