Jinxed myself

Remember a few weeks ago when I was talking about my unfortunate situation involving the law? Well, it turns out that they ended up re-opening the case and sending me a letter in the mail informing me to go to court. Well, since the case, I have moved and I didn't bother putting in a change of address with the post office since most of my mail was bills that I took care of.....I just put in a change of address at DMV and at my former employers and a few places I knew for a fact that I would be getting mail from. Because I didn't show up for court on the appointed day, a warrant for my arrest was issued. Well, I was about to leave to pick up my mom from work on the 31st of August, and a CHP officer happened to drive by my driveway right before I pulled out. I pulled out normally after him on the way to go get my mom. Further up the street, he pulls to the side and I continue by. He pulls out and then turns his lights on and I pull over. That is when I find out about my warrant....my car was impounded over the holiday weekend and cost 300 dollars to get out, and I had to sit in jail for two weeks because of my FTA. The reason why the cop pulled me over......no front license plate. I had just said in a post I believe the day before that I hadn't had a front plate on any of my cars for the past 5 years.....damn the luck!! Only good thing about the situation is that I got the warrant taken care of. I wonder if I say some other things if they will happen now.....like.....I have never won the California Lottery...:D:D

I'm going to Texas next month. The thing that really sucks about this is that it is going to postpone me about two weeks because of the two weeks I wasn't working.

Bummer. Is the situation totally resolved now? I would hate for them to come looking in Texas.

It's resolved and I am keeping paper work on me at all times to prove it now.
