We see stuff like this almost every year where I hunt in central Texas. Deer are blinded by headlights at night. They're scared to death and don't know which way to run. He might just freeze and remain motionless or he may just run in any given direction. If you see a deer on the side of the road at night, just slow way down and try to give him a wide bearth.

Does this mean there won't be any christmas this year? Maybe that deer was trying out for Santa's sled team.... who knows but he got f**ked up pretty bad. I think that would scare the **** out of me.

I'm pretty sure that was a White Tail rather than a Reindeer. So I think Christmas is still on.

Interesting Fact... my neighbour hit a deer with his GrandPrix today. I thought it looked funny from far away, not as much damage. I'll get some pics come morning as it is night and raining now.
