Shelby GT350 cobra.
 

I saw one the other day at a car show and I instantly fell in love. I dont usually like the older cars but I loved this one I would have traded my cobra for it on the spot. I think it was a shelby 350GT cobra cause thats what the emblems said I may be wrong, It looked like Elenor but better.

Anyone know how much these go for?

The GT350 is a very sweet car! The GT350 did look a little different from the GT500 (Elanor). It started out with a hopped up 289 and then 302. I think they were rated at 305 HP. They also handled pretty good for a car of that era.

One of my best friends and runnin' buddies has one. I think he only paid about $15,000 for it many years ago. Hes dumped a TON of $$$ into it, and I think hes got it insured for about 3 times what he paid...but I cant be sure...
I will find out for you. :) It is AWESOME.....ILOVE THAT CAR!!!! Its a '69. I judged it last weekend at the Kemah show....You get so used to seeing your friends cars, you dont pay that much attention to them.....It is CLEAN, and one of my very favorites...

Is the Kemah car show weekly? I checked out spencer last night and there wasn't much there. Theres a nice one in Humble, I haven't been there in a while. Its a long drive to that one....

No, the Kemah show we do twice a year. A fellow club member heads it up, and we do the judging...
WE WERE OFF OF SPENCER LAST NIGHT!!! We were at Cowboy Ranch, right across the street from the Kroger you were prolly at off RedBluff and Spencer. We did a Poker Run yesterday,(I HAD TO WORK!!) :mad: so I could not hook up w/ everyone till the last stop at CR for dinner.
They pretty much quit doing the "cruise in" on Spencer and Redbluff. The cops shut it down a few months ago. There was a lot of complaints from the businesses and the Ricers and Kids were making as$es of themselves and ruined it for everyone else.
We will be at the Autorama most the weekend, this weekend. I'm not gonna show for the first time in 3 years, but will be there alot...If you come out, lemme know. We'll hook up.

When is the Autorama, this coming weekend? If so, I can make it. where do they cruise in now? I went to the parking lot by krogers. Theres a couple of other stores by it. I think one is a dollar store or something.

has the original motor and drivetrain are going for $31,000 to $38,000, a
GT500 is about 10 grand more. That is for a number one car. Tell who ever is
looking to look in the Hemming Motor News book, I think that is the best

it dont get much better than a shelby cobra, i prefer the 69-70 models, but then that's my fav stang's anway. :D :D :D :cool:
