I know this is just partly me, but here goes Clintonista #2 spouting off about crap she knows nothing about again...

National Guard... Security sweeps...
All well and good until you try to figure out who will pay for it.... not necessarily monetarily, but in executing such a moronic idea.

An SA-7 has a range of over 3 miles....
Not only would you need to patrol an entire 3 mile radius around the airport you would need to patrol the entire an area within 3 miles of any area the aircraft would be at say, less than half a mile high... usually on final or on takeoff (a VERY vulnerable time for an aircraft as its near stall speed and no altitude left to gain speed... just hard ground)...
final and takeoff legs can stretch out to around 5 miles each....

Find the area of each leg (5x3)= 15 miles
Add both takeoff and final legs (15x2)= 30 miles
Don't forget an average major runway "over 2 miles" (2x3)= 6 miles

Thats 36 square miles of patrol area PER RUNWAY!

In the world that we live in, we must realize that "warm-fuzzy" half-assed crap will do absolutely nothing other than to give us false security.

How will we win the war against the crazies?
Simple: Use common sense
Keep your eyes open
Be aware of what is going on around you
Report anything wierd to the authorities... Heck if you're wrong, its just a few minutes of their time...
Support the U.S. Armed Forces
Support any legislation to increase funding for the REAL "007s" that keep those missiles out of the hands of the bad guys...

And one last thing... Get Hillary out of the Senate.... PLEASE
