Bye-bye car, bye-bye California

Well, I only got a few more hours before I gotta park my Mustang in storage. Damn, 15 months is a long time without a car. Oh well, after my 15 months is up I'll be stationed in Vegas!!! I'm just nervous about my storage unit getting broke into, and something happening to my car. I got insurance, and the storage place has good security, but still.

What do ya'll think about this for a new sig? I can already here my friends asking.

"Yes, it's in storage and HELL NO YOU CAN'T BORROW PARTS!"

i'm willing to bet your saleen looks better than my 94.:D

Are you gonna have someone go start it every once in awhile?? I don't think that's good to have your car just sit for that long  Oh well have fun... where are you going??

I think its better to leave it than to just start it, but I'm no expert. Ask PKRWUD about storage, but I'd say at least get it up in the air if you can. No need to flat spot the tires.

By the way, which part of CA are you leaving?

Put it on stands so that the tires just barely touch the ground, drain the fluids, crack the windows, and put Bounce sheets under the seats, disconnect the battery, and back off the rockers.

Some people like to apply vasoline to the rubber moldings, too.

Take care,
~Chris

What's the reason for the bounce sheets under the seat? Mice?
