Car-o-scopes???!!!

Hey everyone....

Sorry if this is a repeat for all of you here, but I found an interesting little thing called a car-o-scope. It's on the website of the NPR radio show Car Talk. Anyway, check it out. It said my Cobra was a good match for me.

oh. it's at http://cartalk.cars.com/Survey/Results/Psychographics/

And it's all in fun. I would like to hear what some of you get back, especially for alternative vehicles.

Here's mine...it was pretty fun to read...

Comparing You to Other Ford Mustang Owners
Boy oh boy, Greg, you picked a vehicle which is just about perfect for you. Congratulations! For example, when compared to other people who own a Ford Mustang, you're just about the same in terms of the extent to which you're a cheapskate, status consciousness, and .

But there are some psychographic and/or demographic measures on which you differ from other Ford Mustang owners. For example, you're a little too much of a risk-taker, and you're a bit too young to be driving this vehicle.

Car-O-Scope Makes Suggestions for More Compatible Vehicles
Despite the fact that your personality profile pretty much matches that of Ford Mustang owners, Car-O-Scope would like to suggest some alternative vehicles--should you be thinking of making a change.

Note: some of these suggestions might surprise you. But try to keep an open mind. It's quite possible that the car-o-scope has discovered some hidden and/or repressed aspects of your personality.

1. BMW 2002
2. AMC Jeep
3. Volkswagen Corrado
4. Honda Passport
5. Plymouth Duster

My more compatable vehicles:
1. Oldsmobile Cutlass
2. Chevrolet Camaro
3. Chevrolet Monte Carlo
4. Pontiac Firebird
5. Buick Estate Wagon

At least the Camaro and the Firebird are in there... I have no idea what the hell those other cars are. BTW, since I evidently don't make enough money, anyone want to offer me a job? ;)

Yikes! It said I was too young, too poor and way too risk taking for a mustang! It said I needed a jeep or Camaro...A CAMARO!? *Shakes her head* Ahh, well...machines are destined to make mistakes, right?

OK. You showed me yours. I'll show you mine....

[whips it out]

Comparing You to Other Ford Mustang Cobra Owners
Boy oh boy, John, you picked a vehicle which is just about perfect for you. Congratulations! For example, when compared to other people who own a Ford Mustang Cobra, you're just about the same in terms of your age, the extent to which you're a cheapskate, and your educational level.

1. Volvo 244
2. Isuzu Trooper II
3. Toyota 4 Runner
4. BMW 2002
5. Honda Passport

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I would like to note that there is not one domestic car on the list - designed or built. The BMW would be a possiblility (I think they are great cars and look fine), but the 4 Runner is a strech (I'd go back to Jeep personally). The others? Never!
