ya know what else I hate?!
...borrowing Dad's automatic and headbutting the steering wheel after slamming my foot on the brake thinkin' it's the clutch... ARGH!!!
...gave me a nasty headache... not to mention feeling like a complete fool... lol |
|
lol, i have had my auto 2 year's now, i still cant help reaching for the shifter, i know your pain. :D :D :D i keep stomping on my dead pedel lol.
|
stop it! ...that's not nice... lol
I know I can't be the first one to have done this... |
ah-HA!!! ...knew I wasn't the only one :D
|
lol, i miss my 69 grande, with the 70 mach 1---- 4 - speed. :D :D :D :D :(
|
Topless In Texas has done it before too ;)
|
poor TNT... I know how it feels... lol
|
LMAO!! I feel your pain. All our cars, except for two that belong to the hubby are standards, so when I get in his F150 4X4, I tend to do the same thing and reaching for the shifter at the same time. What a nerd!!:D :p
|
i've done it
In my my grandma's cougar. Was going to work and was getting on the highway, i was doing about 65 mph and went to push in the clutch. Went from 65 to 40 just like that. Didn't hit my head though. that's pretty funny :p

lmao... whenever I drive a car I always reach for the clutch cause the only cars I drive are usually stick. (My dad's t-bird), I drive Auto everyday but it's in the van. I've never stomped on the breaks though. lol :D :D :D
-Sam. |
Ok, I'll admit to doing this as well:D It's because those auto brakes pedals are so damn big! Anyways, I've never done it with anybody in the car or around anyplace really populated, thank god:) ~Brian
|
yeah that's right! ...I'm starting to feel a lot better now...
WELCOME ALL!!! ...Welcome to "The Brotherhood of People-That-Mistake-The-Brake-For-The-Clutch-In-An-Automatic-And-Bang-Their-Heads-On-Steering-Wheels" :D |
Actually, I can relate in a sense.
I got into my mom's buick the other day and went to change gears and I kept reaching for the stick in the console that was not there http://www.boardy.de/images/smilies/kopfpatsch.gif Its actually on the steering wheel. :D |
:(
Actually my embarrassment was what I said in that other post...when I ran MOM2k's Stang at Cecil County and covered the brake, like the clutch, and had the brake lights on all the way down the track..unfortunately, the stands were full!
Still ran a 13.8 :) TNT :D But, ya, I felt like a fool...even a bigger fool trying to Stage. Pepe looked like he was convulsing at the line...I could NEVER get that brake/gas thing in sinc. |
