Woohoo! Passed Emissions
So I passed, now it's time to get this devil (stock 4 cat h-pipe) off and get my off road h-pipe back on. I did a tune up, put 2 bottles of alcohol in 1/3 tank of 87 octane gas, turned the electric fan off, took it over and passed by FAR! I was a small fraction of everything that it needed to be. But, I do need a new catback system now. I would like to do a nice one because of future plans with the car. I was thinking Borla or Bassani, anybody have any input on these? ~Brian

where do you have to take it to get it tested and passed? ...do you just take it to a mechanic or somethin'?

There's like 20 different places in the Chicago area where you can go. They put your car what looks like a chassis dyno and hookup a tube to your exhaust that measures your pollution content. Then they take it threw first and second. Then hopefully they come up and tell you that you passed and your license is still valid:) ~Brian
