Chat again tonight?
 

It was really interesting chatting with some of you guys last night... some of you are really funny... and others have alot of great advice to offer. Though I did experience some of the same problems as Andy669 and Hethj7 last night. Some had a few ideas on how to fix it. Ya never know maybe it will work...

But lets try to get a chat room going again tonight:D

Yea, what time? I will try to stop by for a while since I will just be sitting at the computer all night doing homework anyways.

I noticed there were several of ya'll in the chat room last night. It's great to see that some members are taking advantage of that feature again on MW. I still need to nail down that intermittent bug with a post not showing back to you on occasion, but for the most part the thing seems to work fairly well (I programmed the current chat myself and tied it into vBulletin).

Any further suggestions from anyone regarding it?

I would show up now that scholl is over but I have to get up for hunting at 4 in the morning.

It was cool being in there. Yeah, it would not show us our posts every once in a while (although the other people who didn't write it could see it) and it seemed that the more people who came in there, it had more of a tendency to kick us out (by freezing up) a few times (less often than the other problem, though).

One last thing, I would suggest that there be a window or something that would contain smilies so we could know which ones we could use. Eg, I could use some smilies, but the rolleyes one wouldn't work, so how do I know which ones could work without trying to test them all... Also, we could only get the bold feature to work by using astericks, but didn't know how to do underlines or italics, etc. See, there should be some instrucitons or subwindow somewhere that tells how to do certain things.

Some kind of window would be very helpful to everyone. Also, the room kept freezing on me but it's really not a huge deal to logout and log back in, just an inconvience.

I'm sure things can only improve.

Working at night is a bummer. I never can make the chats, I usually log on after 3 or 4 am so I miss it all! :(
