Electric bill vs Mustang Parts

Hey guys! Hate paying electric bills! I know I do.

Complete this sentence if you can:

"My biggest electric bill this winter was _____ (residence only). If I could have the money back, I would buy _____ for my Mustang."

Stang_Crazy 03-21-2004 12:27 AM

$74/nothing :)

My electric and gas are dirt cheap. Each one usually comes to ~$70-$80/month. I don't envy some of you! :p

Skyman 03-21-2004 01:11 AM

biggest? $28, maybe an oil change. :)

RBatson 03-24-2004 11:01 AM

$28?? I've never had a bill that low! Its funny, my brother's last construction partner moved to cali last year and he said it was weird.. the water bill was high and the electric was low. The complete opposite of here. Water is cheap here, electric is way high. I wonder if it has anything to do with that giant grid you guys run off of over there.

Skyman 03-24-2004 12:57 PM

Yeah, my water bill is around $30 a month...

I never see my electric bill, my wife writes the check, but its pretty cheap in winter because we have gas heat. :D

Dude; What kind of square footage are we talking. That is like crazy low.

The cheapest one I have had in the last year is around 250. And the highest around 380. I pay roughly 20 to 40 bucks for water. that is for 3800 square feet.

Skyman 03-25-2004 12:21 PM

1700 Sq Feet

I guess I heard wrong, about the water part anyhow. The water here cost me around $15. You have it made as far as the utilities over there. I've heard the cost of living is high over there..

Skyman 03-28-2004 09:50 PM

Utilities arent bad and since the climate is more moderate it makes them cheaper since we dont use them so much.

Cost of living is high in terms of rent or home ownership.

Cheapest house in my town is just over 400k now. !

RBatson 04-04-2004 10:56 AM

$400K?? I couldn't afford a house in your neighborhood!

xxxBlakexxx 04-04-2004 11:40 AM

I just removed my electric hot water heater and dryer last week. I switched to LP! You know what that means, more Mustang parts!

Skyman 04-04-2004 02:26 PM

California is ridiculous and its still spiking. The town just 30miles to the north, Santa Barbara the median home price is over 750k now.
