Is there a formula to calc. for alt. & outdoor temp.?
 

I did'nt run good today!!

I'm hoping it was cause of heat & humidity (8pm-10pm) it was

real humid and prob. 89-91 degrees out.

Think this caused my low ET's. Car felt real strong and hooked

GOOD but still only cut 2.01-2.04 60 ft. times?

Please tell me I'm right, last time i went was b-4 T.B,1.7's intake

& head porting (I did them w/ a dremmel :confused: ) I also had

heads milled .035 and was hoping for better times:(

Your 1.7 was before Porting???

Porting cylinder heads is alot more involving than people think. And more bad can be done than good.

Just getting in there and grinding metal out can affect alot of aspects of the flow rate. Even to stock Ford heads (Which are kinda weak on the exhaust especially), you can still hurt the flow by just hogging them out.

Bigger doesnt always mean better.

Not trying to be a jerk, just letting one know.

There are several good books you can find at Barnes and Noble, and Books A Million about head porting. They go into the science of it. And its that, a science.

As for the formula you asked about, I have no clue.

thias will help you. it calculates the density alittude based on temp, humidity and barometer reading. higher means there's less air for your engine to use.
